ABOUT ME

Hi there! I'm Lianna Romero, a technical writer with a B.A. in English - Technical Communication from the University. I specialize in creating clear content that's easy to understand and enjoyable to use. I’ve spent over 7 years working in travel and hospitality, mostly in customer support, so I know what it’s like to help people navigate confusing information in real time. I also spent 4 years tutoring and editing writing for my college peers, which deepened my communication skills and taught me how to break concepts down in a way that meets people where they are.After years of helping people navigate tricky systems (and answering lots of questions), I realized I could use my writing skills to make those systems better from the start. That’s where my love for user experience and instructional content comes. I’m all about guiding users before they even need to ask. My lifelong passion for writing, experience in travel, and fulfillment from teaching others made this career path a no-brainer for me!Outside of writing, I'm a mom of two little ones, which means I'm no stranger to managing my time and being creative! Balancing motherhood, working, and getting my degree all at once gave me time management and problem-solving skills that I bring into every one of my projects. Along with spending time with my family, I enjoy visiting new cities, checking out museums, and reading a good book on the beach.I'm currently open to remote and freelance opportunities, especially in travel, education, or anywhere helpful content is needed!
